My first thought was "Nintama Rantarou is simply unknown except in japanese". Fine as im curious and I always want to search for suposed "unknown" anime, I searched for Nintama rantarou pages made by american fans (which there are few) and I was surprised to find a site in english and by a non-japanese fan and I realized I wasnt the only die-hard otaku of nintama rantarou in this side of the world. I was really surprised and happy for this, really! Whe I first sae the anime, I thought "probably this series werent so popular in Japan" but now... then I thought there wasnt a fan of this outside Japan and now look! I also searched for the openeing and ending themes authors and I was completely sure they were unknown...well probably they werent so recognized as x-japan, two mix, etc but they kept you saying the lyrics for 30 minutes.
